The Perfect Fall Playlist

Hey, T-Belles and HAPPY OCTOBER!!

I haven’t been this excited for a certain time of the year in a while; but seeing that I’ve exhausted myself from stressing about my post-graduation life that’ll take place within the next few months, I’m now hyper-excited about every little thing that speaks peace and happiness – like that bit of foam you get in the amazing Iced Blonde Cocoa Cloud Macchiato at Starbucks. Seeing that I’m forced to cope with the idea of graduating practically every day, Blogtober couldn’t have come at a better time.

Now, I’ve been wanting to get back into blogging for a while now. First, though, I wanted to make sure that I could actually stick to the commitment running your own blog entails. So, instead of rushing into posting inconsistently, I took my time to now confidently be able to say: here at theTmedley, we’re back and better; blogtober is simply just getting this journey started.

So, what can you expect to see from me this month?

A little bit of everything. I want to get real and touch on things we’ve all thought about, (like what even is a guilty pleasure?), I want to get personal and speak about things some fear to open up about, BUT it’s fall baby, so I want to share new healthy recipes and workout tips as well as reviews on makeup, fashion/other products that you either shouldn’t waste your time on or that you should be equally obsessed with.

To start fall off right, I compiled a short playlist that will soon become the soundtrack of our lives this season. This is a growing list, that any and all of you can add to as long as you have a Spotify account. So, jump in, add your favorite songs, and have your playlist ready to play at all times.

Here are my Top 5 from our Fall Spotify Playlist:

Disclaimer: I do not own the rights to any of these songs and simply got them off of public domain.

1. Google Maps x Elujay elujay

Elujay is a new artist for me, but I love that he’s one of those artists that is saying real stuff that actually makes you think without even knowing. It wasn’t until I was a minute into this song where I caught myself being his hype man since the words are so relatable and accurate. This is the perfect “fall drive with me” song that I could listen to over and over because it’s THAT relaxing.

2. Cinnamon Girl x Lana Del Rey cinnamon girl

Lana did it once again on her latest album. I’m sure many of us agree that Lana Del Rey could sing about committing 10,000 murders and we’d still raise our hands in hopes she’ll sing us to sleep.

3. On the Road x Post Malone post malone

I absolutely love that Post Malone is showing the evolution of what his life has brought, in his newest album. Already a genuine artist, in this song Post opens up about fake friends/relationships. Somehow this relates to all of us as no matter who you are or what you do in life, you’ll always encounter a situation where the result ends up being completely different than what you expected.

4. Hot Girl Bummer x Blackbear blackbear

Okay, hot girl summer is officially over. And if you’re like me for a split second, I felt “welp, guess we’re back to our regular lives again,” but hot girl bummer is the perfect song to transition from summer to fall that reminds you that you can be a “hot girl” or have “hot girl energy” all year round.

5. New Religion x NSTASIAnstasia

This is the first song I’ve ever heard from NSTASIA and I immediately became a fan. As soon as you press play to this song, you’ll notice that NSTASIA merges a few different genres together creating her own. What I love most about this song is that it doesn’t put anything down/speak of being better than anything, instead NSTASIA focuses on spreading boss energy as a whole, while putting you in a complete fall trance.

Question of the Day: What fall song have you had on repeat lately? Did you add it to theTmedley fall playlist on Spotify?
