Happy #SpiritualitySunday, T-Belles! It’s been such a long time since we’ve last spoke, I know but I’m so glad to be back with you all! Lately I’ve just been so busy, and I know what you’re thinking: “so is this going to be a pattern every time you’re busy?” My answer: I don’t plan to but I can’t predict the future. So T-Belles after two weeks of realizations, reminders and new knowledge, one common motif kept resurfacing: the words you allow yourself to say and what they do to you. Continue reading

5 Best Cardio Workouts – No Gym Required

skinnyHappy #workoutwednesday T-Belles!! As I start this hump day off with a quick but tough workout to keep me in that productive head space for the rest of the week, I realized I’ve been keeping my hidden workout treasures to myself! Many of us think we can only work out efficiently at a gym or with a personal trainer. I enjoy both of those but it’s not always convenient and doesn’t always work with my  schedule. So what do I do … adjust! Continue reading

How To Love Yourself A Little More & Why

“Of all the people I’ve hurt, I’ve hurt myself the most; I owe myself an apology.”

– autumn

Good morning T-Belles and happy #affirmationtuesdayAs we not only are making it through another page this week, we’re also beginning to exit the chapter we’ve currently been stuck inWe all swallow wavering chunks of life meaning we have our moments when we feel unstoppable, quick-witted and spicy then we also have our moments where we don’t feel very much at all and do the best we can to “get the job done”. So how can we start working towards feeling better than ourselves again?  Continue reading

5 Songs I’ve Been Blasting All Month

IMG_1404Welcome back T-Belles! I’ve been discovering recently that like me, many of us are always on the search for new music which is partially why I find the “Mood of The Month” section to be so important. Since many of you enjoyed my “10 Songs I’m Currently Obsessed With”, I’m back with another version of songs I’m obsessed with but this time the ‘feels’ edition. How many of you are like me and have an oddly deep appreciation for low-tempo, “pain-staking” music? No matter what mood I’m in, I’m always listening to music that plays with the emotions. You don’t want to go without knowing these any longer… Continue reading

5 Reasons Why It’s Important to Reinvent Yourself

Reinvent 2Life is an obstacle course. At times we question how we’re going to battle with it. Well, the secret is to constantly evolve. As with anything, eventually you have to conform and then re-conform, over and over again. The problem? Many of us are too afraid of change to want to try. Let me give you a few undeniable reasons why reinvention is crucial. Continue reading

Because of this, I’ve gotten way off track when it comes to productivity.  To get back on schedule, I’ve decided to post my weekly to-do lists here so that you all can not only hold me accountable but can be a little more encouraged to get what you need to get done as well. 20 Things I Learned At 20

d6c88fe9-36de-4643-adc5-5f2e0aef4b34

When you’re a child, “they” always say life goes by fast and before you know it you’re 50 wondering where the time went. At some point your teenage years will feel as if they are dragging, but as soon as you hit 19, 20, then suddenly you’re 21, you realize that “they” weren’t lying. I was fortunate enough to become a full adult (21) this past May 17th and have since had a crazy, nostalgic feeling. Not only do I feel like a profound new woman, because I am a new woman but also a bit bitter as I further pull away from my childhood years. To embrace this new chapter of my story, I decided to reflect on the 20 years of lessons that got me to 21. Continue reading

My Monthly Zodiac Reading

2c4f8dd8-f0d8-4bbc-bb2e-e3f0139d3dbcHAPPY MAY 4TH, T-BELLES! Many of you may not know but May is my birthday month so of course, it’s my very favorite month. Over the past few years I’ve gotten in touch with my spiritual side. I like to check my horoscope as often as I can to see what it predicts and how accurate it truly is. I have a habit of consistently checking my tarot reading for my zodiac sign (Taurus) at the beginning of each month. This is my response to the below YouTube May 2018 Tarot Reading for all of my fellow Taureans out there (or those who are just interested). Continue reading

The Beauty of Being Human

globeRecently, I’ve been studying neorealism in my cinema class – one of the most fascinating genres out there (says me, a girl who doesn’t like genres or categories or whatever else you want to call it). Neorealism focuses on...reality; the moments we, as humans, face everyday but that many other movie genres choose to ignore or cut out. Think of the last time somebody has intimidated you with whom they are. By that I mean, when was the last time someone or something approached you in an organic way and because of your disconnect, you felt uncomfortable?  Continue reading

10 Songs I’m Currently Obsessed With.

songsHey T-Belles! As we move into a new month, I can’t help but get even more anxious for summer. Even though many of us are sliding into “April Showers”, the sun has come out a little more frequently (despite the current thunderstorm) here in Central Texas. So, to embrace this moody but revitalizing weather currently, I’ve complied an ‘April’ playlist and a ‘feelsss good’ playlist to which you all can check out and follow at any point on my Spotify. Out of both of these recent playlists, here are 10 songs I’ve been utterly obsessed with lately:

Stepping into the New Year the Right Way

img_2061I’m sure I’m not the only one who noticed an odd sense of charm the second the clock hit midnight this previous New Year’s Eve. Something about the air has screamed ‘cultivate’ since and truthfully, I haven’t been this motivated to make the most of my year and stay productive while reaching new heights.
